WASHINGTON - The U.S. Postal Service today announced its financial results for the third quarter of its fiscal year 2022 (April 1, 2022 - June 30, 2022). The enactment of the Postal Service Reform Act (PSRA) on April 6, 2022, significantly impacted the financial condition of the Postal Service, as it repealed the requirement that the Postal Service annually prepay future retiree health benefits and canceled all past due prefunding obligations. These impacts are reflected as a one-time, non-cash benefit of $59.6 billion to net income for the quarter.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — The U.S. Postal Service dedicated 16 new Forever stamps today celebrating the nation’s underwater treasures that showcase the abundant wildlife and diverse ecosystems found throughout the National Marine Sanctuary System. WASHINGTON — The United States Postal Service reported new delivery performance metrics for the fourth week of the fiscal fourth quarter. The latest data shows continued strong performance across First-Class Mail, Marketing Mail, and Periodicals. For the third week of FY2022 Q4, the average time for the Postal Service to deliver a mailpiece or package across the postal network was 2.4 days.

LOS ANGELES — First-Class Mail will travel from “Infinity to Forever” with the newly released commemorative stamps featuring the iconic image of Buzz Lightyear.
EASTERN KENTUCKY — Carriers will attempt mail delivery in eastern Kentucky communities affected by recent flooding where it is safe to do so. Carriers will avoid downed power lines, flooded or damaged streets and bridges, and other potentially hazardous situations.
LOUISVILLE, KY — The U.S. Postal Service today launched USPS Connect — a set of four delivery solutions that leverage ongoing network improvements, new equipment, new pricing and enhanced operational precision to meet evolving business package delivery needs.
